Bless Hotel Ibiza: A Brand New Luxury Addition

Bless Hotel Ibiza recently opened its doors on the island of Ibiza as the counterpart to the Bless property in Madrid. The hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and  part of the Palladium Hotel Group.

Before we stepped inside the hotel I had some general expectations. Since it’s a brand new hotel, I expected clean rooms, new furniture and the occasional hiccup or mistake on behalf of the staff as they were getting used to the influx of clients after the opening.

What we got instead completely surprised me! A fantastic, luxurious and personalized experience!

Bless Hotel Ibiza is located in Es Canar’s Cala Nova and has 151 unique rooms ranging from their deluxe double room to an exclusive Presidential Suite. We were in the Deluxe Sea Room which came equipped with daily water refills, a Nespresso machine, a bedsheet menu, bath amenities and a super cool steam iron (so important for someone like me who rolls my dresses into a suitcase!)

The Breakfast

I would give the breakfast at Bless Hotel Ibiza 15/10. It was wonderful! You have a huge buffet to choose from cheese, cold cuts and desserts. I was surprised at their selection of fruit which wasn’t like the usual hotel breakfast containing melon, pineapple and grapes. The hotel offers exotic choices such as passion fruit, dragon fruit and papaya!

You can dine both inside and outdoors but as the weather was warm in the mornings we decided to have our breakfast outside.

The breakfast tables are right next to the pool and we made it right during sunrise which was beautiful! As soon as you sit down the staff at Bless Hotel ask you for your a la carte order (included in the breakfast rate) from a rich menu of omelettes, pancakes, eggs, and avocado on toast. Italian coffee is hard to compete with but Bless Hotel has a selection of coffee that caters to their Italian clientele – providing the customary cappuccino, cafe macchiato and espresso with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Spaces

The main highlight of Bless Hotel Ibiza are its facilities. There are two infinity pools (one downstairs and the other on their rooftop lounge) two restaurants, a pool club with bar service and a spacious area where you can relax and spend the day tanning by the pool. The spacious pool area doesn’t make you feel like you are in a crowded hotel, providing guests with plenty of room for you to pick and choose (and avoid bumping elbows with other hotel guests).

The details are what make your stay unforgettable at Bless Hotel. Everything from a hair salon to pedicures and makeup artists on demand! Bless Hotel offers its own Rossano Ferretti salon as well as the Magness Soulful Spa complete with Turkish baths, hydrotherapy water circuits and a full list of facial treatments and massages.

Dining

Bless Hotel Ibiza has two on-site restaurants, Salao, which features Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the island of Ibiza and Etxeko, a signature restaurant by Martin Berasategui.

If you are unfamiliar with Berasategui, he is Spain’s celebrated gastronomic talent with a total of 10 Michelin Stars. In his own words, “At Etxeko, you can take a journey from my origins in San Sebastian and let yourself be seduced by my culinary creations, depending as they do on the whims of the sea, the countryside and the seasons.”

We decided on the tasting menu, which allowed us to get a good feel of the restaurant through some of Berasategui’s signature dishes.

Bless Hotel left us in awe of their impeccable service and we cannot wait to go back next year!
